1. Safety issues notwithstanding,

    Driving at night in the fog is actually pleasant. Most people complain about foggy weather, but I pretty much love it. It’s calming, and everything looks vastly different, mostly because the only things you can see are the ones immediately in front of you. There’s also something about the way every headlight, tail light, and streetlight look identical through the fog. Then there’s the whole mysterious/creepy feeling you get, which I usually hate, but I don’t mind in the fog.

    This week’s been a really hard week at work—not that I’ve had more work to do or anything, but I’m finding it incredibly hard to not be distracted when I’m literally counting down the days until I’m unemployed. People in towns in the Midwest are devastated because they’re losing their jobs left and right and here I am, excited as hell to lose mine. What a prick.
